Located in an idyllic spot in the foothills of the Himalayan Mountains, each year the town of Rishikesh hosts a week-long International Yoga Festival. This year the even is being jointly organized by Parmarth Niketan and Uttarakhand Tourism (Govt of Uttarakahnd).
In addition to daily yoga sessions led by expert teachers, visitors to the festival can learn more about this ancient art through a programme of workshops, lectures and live demonstrations.
